Job summary: turn the house/backyard/garage into an enjoyable, organized and easy to maintain space.
Some of the work involved:
* Cleanup and organization: sorting stuff, unpacking boxes, putting stuff in boxes, buying more boxes (and whatever else is needed), all with a focus on understanding how the stuff and space is actually used.
* Getting rid of stuff: selling on FB, donating, throwing away
* Getting rid of hazardous stuff in a LEGAL way: paint, batteries, medicine, electronics, engine oil, …
* Potentially hiring someone else for more specialized jobs (e.g. fireplace specialists, trash haulers, etc.)
Rough estimate of the amount of immediately available work: ~60-80 hours (spread across several weeks, on a mutually convenient schedule). Further regular maintenance and support work upon the completion of the initial reorganization is also possible.
Candidate requirements:
* Solid communication skills
* Fluent in English or Russian
* Attention to details
* Verified organization experience (a picture of your own workspace is required, plus pictures of past projects)
* Good at collaborative problem solving
* Decisiveness and strategic vision
* Willingness to work both physically and mentally (sometimes you'll have to carry a stack of 2x4s across the yard, and sometimes design a shelving system with a pen and paper)
Nice-to-have:
* Familiarity with tools for woodworking/electronics (at a very basic level)
* Familiarity with kids bedrooms and piles of LEGO
* Familiarity with various crafts and crafts supplies organization
