Sadly letting go of my beloved 1990 Volvo 240 wagon. I bought it new and it has been my faithful Daily car until I retired in Oct 2023. I still drive it regularly and it has been well maintained.
The odometer has 400,000 miles but I replaced the engine April 2024 with one with only 123,000 miles (the crank shaft broke on my way home - I was in tears !). I was fortunate to find an engine with only 123,000 miles and had it installed & have put on about 7,000 miles since then, so now has about 130,000 miles. When the engine was installed, I also replaced the water pump and timing belt since it was already taken apart.
Additionally, I recently had a new Mass Air Flow sensor and engine thermostat control replaced and had the throttle control valve cleaned.
There is No Rust, the upholstery is intact and the back cargo area is in great shape. Michelin tires.
The downside:
Air conditioner needs to be charged & front passenger lock is very stiff.
