Note: studs are bolted to the frame of the van, a fixed bed can easily be installed. I chose to use a blow up mattress instead so that I could also utilize the van for cargo without a fixed bed in the way. The blow up mattress is extremely comfortable and I preferred to maintain the utility factor of the van to move cargo when needed.
