My 2004 Chevrolet Corvette z06 is up for sale. 50k miles, new shocks, new wheel hubs. C6 z06 shifter. Runs and drives clean, and is plenty fast. This car has a factory striped carbon fiber hood.
Comes with stock wheels wheels, and I have a set of aftermarket wheels (with TPMS) that I am willing to sell for a $1000 extra.
The history: Bought this car on Feb. 2014, used from Serramonte Ford. It had 20k miles on the odometer. I changed the Borla Stinger exhausts with stock Titanium exhausts on the car so that it would not wake up the neighbors in the morning when I started it.
In the past 4 (almost 5!) years that I have had the car, I have:
Driven the car to Denver, CO., and to the top of Pikes peak.
Replaced the brake pads and rotors (less than a year ago).
Replaced the struts with KONI FSD units.
Replaced the ABS/Traction control unit. Still have the old one. Known issue on C5s.
Replaced all 4 wheel bearings with the new units from C6 z06.
Installed a middle brake light blinker (gets the attention of inattentive tailgaters on the freeway)
The car comes with a cover, and 2004 shop manual.
I also have two GoodYear Eagle F1 supercar tires in good condition and in a plastic bag that I took off when I replaced the tires with Michelin PS2s.
Not in a rush to sell, but since I do not do group/solo drives on beautiful roads anymore, I thought someone else should enjoy this car. I'll have the car smogged when we have a handshake agreement with the buyer.
There are a few scratches on the front bumper, and there is a section of right fender that could use a bit of fiberglass fixing as well.
