I'm testing the waters on my beloved 1997 Mazda Miata STO edition with only 47,500 miles. There were only 1,500 of these made and you probably won’t find another one with only 47,500 miles….maybe ever. This is truly a collectors’ car. I’m having a really hard time parting ways with my baby and that is why I’m just “testing the waters” to see if I can find the right owner. Some facts about the car.
I’m only the second owner. The 1st owner was a 80+ year old gentleman who sold it to me because he was too old to get in and out of the car. It took me 2-3 years to find this car in the condition I wanted.
Comes with a hardtop and a softtop. The softtop is almost in a brand new condition since the first owner only used it a few times and I never used it. I only used the hardtop.
It has a Jackson Racing supercharger which is the best and most popular for Miatas. This car is much faster than your typical Miata.
This car was garage kept for most of its life. The first owner told me he only kept it outside for 6 months when he replaced it with a Tesla. I always kept it garaged. The car is in really good condition, but it does have a few scratches which are unavoidable for a car that is 22 years old.
I recently got the master clutch cylinder replaced, all the drive belts changed, supercharger belt changed, and the timing belt with the water pump replaced. Have the paperwork from Mr.Miata in Campbell. ~$1,700 in maintenance work that will most likely keep this car running fresh for a very long time.
Please reach out to me only if you are truly a Miata fan. As I mentioned earlier I’m having a hard time selling this car and in no rush. I rather find the right person for this collectors car.
