This is a 1995 Miata "M-edition."
UPDATE! I've been informed it's not a genuine M-edition, but I'm fairly certain is still has a limited slip differential with the slight slippage I get from tight turns.
I've had great fun with this car, but I purchased another coupe, so it's time for this to go.
This is a copart auction vehicle, so I brought the car out of junk status to salvage and thus has a salvage title. While just some wiring and one brake line required replacement to return it to the road, I went ahead and did some additional work:
New soft top with vinyl window
TECHNAFIT stainless braided brake lines
Powerstop calipers all around
Rear Akebono ACT636 Proact brake pads
Redline MT-90 transmission fluid
Redline 75W90 differential fluid
Duralast clutch slave cylinder
Steering wheel cover
Oil change when purchased at 120,000 miles
Oil change recently at 125,000 miles
The individual who had originally purchased the Miata from copart had the vehicle and wheel repainted.
I messed up installing the soft top, so there's a tear behind the passenger side window that's been patched. There's also a tear in the driver side seat. Some adhesive remains of the weird wood laminate center console cover.
Just a word of warning, the 1995 Miata is a dumb car. This one has no ABS or traction control. The limited slip differential coupled with the these tires make it pretty terrible in the rain. The trunk has been gutted and there is no spare tire.
