First owner was in Washington and impact happened rear right. I suspect it had forced induction because clutch is more firm than other stock e36 M3's I've driven.
Second owner bought the car just to flip.
I'm the third owner; have had the car since 2001. Mostly highway miles as I used to go to school and work in Santa Clara. Burned out many post-cat o2 sensors before I found out this car needs to run hot.
Moved out of the country 12 years ago and am visiting until 2019Jan5. Car has been sitting in my parents garage and don't have the time or energy to part out. No oil or power steering leaks. First start was rough but gets stronger with use. Drove around in 2nd gear car doesn't overheat but thermostat isn't working. Some other problems listed below.
Oil changes done every 8000mi.
Car needs some love and a good home. If sale before the 5th I accept BTC, but after only fiat.
NO TEST DRIVES; I drive you around. After the 5th: an old man drives you around.
Need space to transport the extra hood.
