Mostly original 1978 GMC High Sierra 1/2 ton "Diesel" Long Bed. Original diesel engine swapped for a 454 gas engine a long time ago but is still titled as a diesel and remains smog exempt. Nicely "patina'd" survivor in very original condition, including the original blue plates. Good daily driver that runs and drives very well. Still rides nice and tight with a clean straight body/frame and no cancer/rust. I believe this truck has been a life long California truck and lived on a farm up North before I bought it. Clean title in hand, registered and ready to go wherever you wanna take it. Keep it as is and drive it worry free forever or drop an LS, shorten the bed with the confidence of starting with a nice clean slate with no surprises and enjoy that smog exempt freedom!

fuel sending units
misc. hoses

Originally a factor AC truck though it currently isn't running an AC compressor. Functional factory dual "saddle" gas tanks. Factory equipped "sport" bumpers and mirrors. Factory tilt steering column. Factory options sticker still intact inside the glove box door.
Interior is all there but shows wear and tear. Dash is cracked. The seat is in good shape with some seams splitting a bit but no tears. I put the seat cover on it to preserve it since it's in good shape. It even still has the parcel shelf behind the folding bench seat.

Asking $18,000 OBO. If you think my asking price is too high, please come see and drive the truck for yourself then feel free to make me a fair offer. The worst thing I can do is say no but maybe you'll get lucky, catch me on a generous day and get it for less.
