Selling my 1965 Chevrolet Corvette. The car was bought new in San Francisco and the original owner lived in Burlingame (apartment building with garage is still there). The second owner (a collector) stored the car in Los Gatos (climate controlled building with 20 other cars) from 1974 until 2014 adding only about 100 miles. I am the third owner, having bought it in 2014 and adding 2,500 miles. I have documentation to prove the history of the car as well as the mileage. I have photos of all the numbers on the car.
Original black plates from new, a true survivor. Unmodified, unrestored, all original body and interior. Numbers matching and correct on the original block, manifolds, heads, carburetor, transmission, alternator, starter, and underside of dash. Documented 58,757 miles. Real genuine Kelsey Hayes knock-off wheels (not reproductions). Body and fenders have not been cut or modified. Interior is all original and in amazing condition, given that it was stored indoors. Paint is as you would expect for a 53 year old hand-made original car; It has been garaged and preserved, but is not perfect. I have a folder that I can share with you that contains detailed paint thickness measurement using ultrasound device. All window glass is original, as are the four glass T-3 headlamp bulbs (not reproduction). Everything is as it should be, because I am an incredibly picky owner.
Original engine and transmission have been recently rebuilt with no expense spared. Everything has been refreshed (carb, cooling system, brakes, suspension, electrics, fuel system, etc). Original Distributor, alternator, and starter rebuilt by expert using original parts for sake of future reliability. Lots of new maintenance parts, all date coded and restoration grade with receipts saved and digitized. Car is ready to go and could easily be driven cross-country. Super reliable.

Contact me for additional photos and information. I can share a "google drive" folder with you that contains many additional photos of the exterior, interior, engine, and undercar detail. I also have a drive folder with receipts, documents/history, photos of all numbers/stampings, and misc service manuals. Spare parts and all original take-off parts are included with the car.
Car comes with three sets of wheels/tires:
- Original '65 steel wheels with vintage tires and original hubcaps
- Real genuine Kelsey Hayes knock-off wheels (not reproduction) with period correct gold stripe bias ply Firestones
- New set of reproduction '67 steel wheels (never mounted) with new highway tires (never used). These are ideal for a long road trip.
Clean clear California title in my name. No funny business. I prefer to talk on the phone rather than email or text.
If you're looking for something that has been preserved, this is your car. You will not find another one like this.
