💻 Senior? Need help learning technology?🖥 (san jose west)

Instruction and Tech Support for Seniors (and non Seniors) – computers, training, support, upgrades, Zoom

Are you a senior (or Non-Senior) that needs help with current technology? Things like setting up a new computer (Windows PC, Apple, Linux), if the old computer is running slow or not working properly? Worried that your computer may be infected? That you were hacked? Did you get a pop-up that your computer was infected or received a fake call that it is? How to keep safe on the internet? How to bank online safely? How to use Zoom?

Do you have questions on how to do any of "this computer stuff?"

I enjoy teaching people how to use their technology, explaining things, determining if your current tech may need some first aid, training you 1-on-1 how to use your devices, all kinds of things. Call, text or email me and we can chat and if you like I will come to your location, with mask on or we can do this entirely remotely over Zoom or similar. You would be surprised how much we can accomplish using newer tools. Let me know what works best for you. =)

About Me
Have been in computer/technology/customer service for 25+ years, during this time I was responsible for managing the technology needs of the headquarters employees for a couple of leading Silicon Valley firms. Have dealt with everyone, from the 'less than technical' to the highly technical, from the worker bees to the CEO. Pretty comfortable with everything technology related but due to my previous years in hospitality I found that educating people (especially seniors and the ‘less than technical’) and helping them solve their technology challenges gave me the most satisfaction. Have advanced (Masters) degrees in Business and Information technology and in past a number of technical certifications. Patience and customer service skills are my strong suits =)

Why I Do This
It is now my turn to give back and help others. I am not in this to sell you stuff, I'm here to HELP you to figure out your current situation and advise. I will take a look at your/your relatives situation and at the very least give you a 2nd opinion or a course of action I’d recommend if this is not something I can (or should) fix. But if it is support, training or "Help!" you would like it would be my pleasure. If you decide to use my services we can talk about what we think a fair rate of compensation would be. Not in this for the money but need to cover my time and expenses at the least. In my middle 50’s, had been early retired once and financially set but found that boring (cannot travel for long periods: our older teenage kids are still not quite independent...yet) so went back to a former technology job for a few more years to fill the time. I provide this service for a number of my older neighbors/friends and family and they have encouraged me to offer this service to other seniors (or non-seniors). Happy to provide references from my current happy customers if you like.

If you would like to meet and discuss what technology challenges you (or a family member) may have and how I may be able to help, please call, text or email. If you call though, your call will go straight to voicemail (spam call avoidance) but please leave a message with your call back number and I will get back to you pretty quickly.

Thank you in advance and stay safe!
