I will pay a student(emphasis on student only because I want to give an opportunity to someone that can benefit from it, but if you just know about this stuff you don't have to be a student I will pay you too) that knows about computer vision a cool $300-$500 cash or wire to implement a particular computer vision algorithm for me
We're talking about pretty much just reading a published paper from a decade ago and implementing the algorithm that is proposed. It's a school project level of work. An AI agent can do a lot of the legwork for this, I don't mind if you utilize that to get it done. But, it would be astounding to me if you can get it done just with a language model. You really need to have or develop an understanding of the CV problem to get this done.
It is ~1-4 hours of work if you know what you are doing.
The deliverable would be a portable C++ file or port-able Python file with the function stub implemented. We would be leveraging OpenCV here but I'm open to suggestions if you have better ideas for frameworks/models.
I'll give you $300 bucks if the implementation is sufficient for my needs and $500 bucks if it works great. We can talk about what that means.
This could be a great hobby project for someone that is trying to learn, or it could be a decent, quick way to make an extra $500 for someone that is established in CV.
