Kathy Erteman ceramic plate from her Black and White series. Plate is 11 1/4" diameter, decorated on both top and bottom, signed ("KE"), and dated ("91"). Plate is in excellent condition and has no chips.

Per the artist’s website www.kathyerteman.com, the black and white carved stoneware consists of precise forms, energetic freehand carved surfaces, slip cast, handbuilt, and wheel thrown. Designs made in the series are similar to printmaking practice or one off.
