Offered for sale is an absolutely beautiful original midcentury modern webbed side chair reminiscent of Jens Risom's iconic webbed chair that he designed for Knoll in the late 1950s. This chair was likely made in the mid-1960s, is more angular in form, and reflects the fine craftsmanship one would expect from Danish and Norwegian furniture designers of that time. All the black cotton web straps are in great strong condition, but could use a little cleaning. This chair is extremely solid - and heavy! I think the wood is oak but it could possibly be maple. Wood is in excellent condition with some minor scratches here and there that could be easily remedied.

Price is $600 or best offer.
(I've included a screenshot from the 1stDibs website that shows a pair of these exact same chairs - being offered for a whopping $3825.00! The price for one would be $1912.50 at that price!)
