1947 PAA Equator Crossing Certificate Signed by R .E. Joselyn to Joe Gianelli. ARTIFACT: This is a 1947 Pan American Airways (PAA) certificate signed by R. E. Joselyn. The certificate was issued April 28th, 1947 to Joe Gianelli for crossing the equator in a trip to New Orleans from the Rio.

It is fantastically colored and shows a rather jovial-looking Jupiter Rex presiding over the announcement.

Some Yellowing and Discoloration on the border and back. Please refer to photo's as part of the description.

VINTAGE: Circa 1947

SIZE: Approximately 10-1/2" in height by 13-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Printed paper.

MARKINGS: Signature of R. E. Joselyn (Captain)

CONDITION: The certificate is in excellent condition.
