Evesham Gold, named after the local fruit-growing region near Worcester, was developed by Royal Worcester in 1961 amid a new trend for informal dining. The design is in the tradition of still-life fruit motifs used for centuries to test a painter’s artistic abilities. The Royal Worcester artists develop the same capabilities and skills when painting and designing these beautiful dishes. The Evesham Gold design consists of painted fruits; apples, pears, cherries, and blackberries adorn this beautifully crafted dinnerware.
Royal Worcester crockery. Used with some minor wear, gold edging wearing. Note the one chip as pictured.
