Let me start off by saying there’s a lot of fake Wells Fargo belt buckles out there. You can usually tell by the lack of detail on the recast, and the belt attachment bar is cast fixed and doesn’t swivel like the original ones. Look at the crispness of the casting on this original one.
I purchased this brass one along with a sterling silver one years ago. Like new condition. Never worn. These buckles were issued in 1973 to Wells Fargo customers who deposited a certain amount in their savings accounts. Sold as is. Look at the detail on this buckle and compare to some of the ones online. If interested we will meet at a Milpitas Starbucks.
