I am selling a VINTAGE US ARMY SIGNAL CORPS RADIO RECEIVER R-48/TRC-8. I believe this is WW2 era or possibly Korean War. This receiver was made by ESPEY MFG CO. The unit powers on but no further testing was done as I have no way of testing it. Therefore there is no guarantee that the receive will work properly or as intended. As pictured, the power light illuminates. The power cord is in tact but the has separation where it connects to the front of machine and may need to be taped or replaced. The glass on the micro amp meter does not have cracks. The Frequency Megacycle dial is made of cardboard and is faded with stains with hand written numbers. The frequency control knob is in tact. The left carry handle is attached firmly bent. This radio is heavy and weighs about 85 lbs. I am selling it for $500.00
