Job Title: RENTAL STORE MANAGER (Job Code: SCL-SM101519)
Reports To: General Manager
Pay Structure: Exempt
Location: 805 Comstock Street, Santa Clara

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Store Manager ensures that the store is dedicated to meeting the equipment rental and supply/merchandise needs of contractor companies, industrial, commercial companies, and homeowners. The main responsibility of the Store Manager is to direct the supervision of the branch and its employees, to ensure its smooth operation and profitability; while maintaining Cresco’s values.

Minimum Requirements:
· Effective leadership and motivational skills
· Previous customer service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or
related field preferred
· Demonstrate leadership and motivational experience
· Positive attitude
· Professional phone demeanor
· Excellent verbal communication
· Professional appearance
· DMV report & drug screen required
· Demonstrate understanding of rental equipment preferred
· An ability to function well as part of a team
· Diligent attention to safety

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries
· Handle Dispatch Responsibilities as needed
· Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs
· May assist in educating and/or demonstrating equipment use to customers
· Determine equipment available for rental
· Perform inventory control processes
· Load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental
· Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage and fuel levels for billing purposes
· Inspect equipment and trucks for safety decals and compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good
working order
· Cash balancing & reporting
· Follow proper cash accounts procedures
· Follow all Cresco Operational Procedures and QC Standards
· Approval of employee timecards and vacation requests
· Train and/or assist employees in learning essential job functions
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Education, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong sales and customer service experience
· Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred
· Computer skills preferred
· Rentalman experience preferred
· Is able to effectively perform in a high paced busy environment
· Valid California driver's license

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
· Frequent lifting up to 15 lbs., occasional lifting up to 25 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Activities requiring handling and grasping with the hands when restocking shelves, loading and unloading
equipment, processing customer transactions
· Ability to bend, kneel, walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day
· Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment
· Ability to sit for at least 4 hours per day
· Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day
· Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes
· Other duties assigned as needed
