As found 1939 Arnold Schwinn "The World " Girls Bicycle. Serial number C05876 and B40610. Dated it at 1952 the first time I looked it up on a Schwinn serial number "LOOK-UP" site but was informed by a Bike expert this was a PRE WAR BIKE 1940-41. He told me the rear drop out for the back wheel indicates it's pre war and told me the kick stand was added. I checked out the back wheel frame and he is 100% right - it drops out the back and has the little turned out wings to be the stop for the "old" style stand that you fold down and lift the back wheel off the ground. So I looked up the Serial number on another site and it indicates it is a 1939 Bike! Bike still has a San Mateo license from 1956! 24" tires missing one pedal and needs restoration. When have you ever seen one of these? It would make a great cruiser for a petite lady. $350.00/Offer. Have few other bikes I'll be listing so look at my other ads.
