Less than 1000 miles on the battery (17AH) I used it as a commuter and around town. The battery still holds a good charge. I didn't use it for about 2 years so I kept the battery charge around 40% while it was not in use. I've always kept it stored out of the rain so the bike is still in great looking shape. The only major ding is on the battery housing. This was an unfortunate shipping damage when the bike was delivered to me in 2016. FLX offered me a heavily discounted battery replacement but at the time it wasn't worth the cost for me to replace it and it has worked fine ever since. Please see the last two images for original purchase receipts ($2412).
I bought this FLX Trail Ebike when FLX bikes was still FLUX bikes and just starting out in 2016 (they now go by Superhuman bikes). They successfully completed their Indiegogo campaign which convinced me to buy this and I'm glad I did as it has been a great bike. I no longer need it which is why I am selling it.
Purchased add-ons:
- Front and rear fenders - $50
- Integrated headlight and taillight - $100
- Rear Rack - $55 (not in pictures)
- Suspension seat post - $35
- Smartphone mount - $20
- Extra Battery Charger - $55 (I have two for this battery, one I kept at work and one at home)
- 17 Amp Hour battery
The bicycle has been great. It is fast and the motor can be unlocked if desired, I never did that as I was able to get it up to 30mph on flat ground with just the gearing and highest battery speed which is plenty fast. I usually rode around with power setting 1-3 out of 5. Not only does this have pedal assist but it also has a thumb throttle too.
