Early Race or Race Lite Bonty with segmented seat stays and front derailleur pulley wheel. The only way to tell the difference is time of original purchase. The bike was stripped of paint and inspected for cracks, I did find one at the back of the seat tube near the split and I left it as is, with a longer seatpost now in the tube, not likely going to get any worse and probably been there for years. I repainted black base with Roth Purple Kandy and a clear top coat, all automotive quality paints. Repop sticker kit from Gil in UK was applied over the paint as Keith did in the day. Frame is 17.5" or 19.5 depending on how you measure , I'd call it a medium. All components are Shimano XT with Bontrager wheels that are later version but fit the build nicely. The fork is not a Bontrager but is a Tange Prestige which was based on the Bonty, so very similar and looks great on the bike. The rest of the bike speaks for itself.
