This is a beautiful vintage oak rocking chair. It is in very fine original condition with no loose joints and no damage other than normal wear. We have owned the chair for over 40 years and are just downsizing as we age. The wood is oak with a beautiful quarter sawn back rest. It appears that the finish is original with a nice vintage patina with no major scratches and no stains. The dark brown leather seat and back are in wonderful condition with no scratches, tears, or stains. The chair rocks flawlessly and is very comfortable. This rocker is full/large in size and will accommodate a large person. I’m 6’2” and it fits me very comfortably but also my wife who is smaller in stature.
