ITEM LOCATED IN SAN JOSE/SANTA CLARA. This is a large framed photograph of a Frank Sinatra concert that took place at the Madison Square Garden in October, 1974, taken by the well known photographer George Kalinsky. It is hand-signed by Kalinsky in silver paint pen on the lower right. The framed display has an etched metal plate that reads "Frank Sinatra, Madison Square Garden, October 1974, From The Lens of George Kalinsky." The wooden frame is about 18.75"x28"x1" in size and the photo print has been professionally double-matted to 11.75"x17.75". Asking $750 (OBO).
George Kalinsky was the official photographer for the Madison Square Garden since 1966 and also served as the official photographer at the Radio City Music Hall. His photos have been published in major publications, such as Sports Illustrated, People, Newsweek and The New York Times. In May 2009, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opened an exhibit dedicated to Kalinsky photographs of Madison Square Garden's most popular concerts.
