ITEM LOCATED IN SAN JOSE. This is an original 19th century stipple engraving printed in color depicting Portrait of an unknown man, court of King Henry VIII, c. 1532. The man could possibly be Sir Ralph Sadler (1507-1587), English statesman, who served as Privy Councilor, Secretary of State, and Ambassador to Scotland. It was engraved by J. Minasi after a picture by Hans Holbein the Younger (German, 1497-1543). The image is from "His Majesty's Collection," published in 1812 by Chamberlaine, London. The frame is 10.5" wide and 13.5" high. Asking $125 (Or make offer).
