This is a teak wood PARAT bowl that has been gathered from India. The bowl is 70 years old. They were used to need bread do the Indian flatbread known as chapati parat. These have been replaced by a stainless steel version, but some are still used in the areas of.madha pradesh this is a one of a kind bowl
It is 29 inches at the widest point. It has an opening of 17 1/2 inches and it stands 4 inches tall
Note this has the old world market sticker on the back verifying it is 50 years old and I’ve had it for over 20 years
