Up for sale is one used Montgomery Ward Signature UHTJ 265A sewing machine head in good working and fair to very good cosmetic condition. The bobbin cover and needle plate have areas of corrosion. The stitch width control is very stiff and difficult to move to desired position. The bobbin winder tire could use replacing. Mostly metal drivetrain. There are a couple of plastic gears for the zig zag mechanism. Heavy cast iron body.
Includes foot pedal and cords which I am not sure are original to the machine. I would reccomend replacing it with an electronic pedal. Uses Singer class 15 needles bobbins and bobbin cases. Includes one bobbin case and bobbin and a low shank zig zag presser foot.

Made for Montomery Ward in Japan by the Happy sewing machine company around the mid to late 1960's is my guess.
