Amazing old home, beautifully restored: 7 bedrooms, 2 full baths and two half baths.
All the rooms and kitchen are completely furnished. The furnishings are pretty nice: Combination of antiques, restored solid furniture with some IKEA thrown in for functionality. New ceiling fans in most rooms so pleasant on warmer days.
Super friendly house. We like to hike, get outside. Serious about our work so no parties but have friends over and often go out.
Close to campus but we have front and back yards with gardens and places to study or have a house dinner. The house has an international feel to it. Many of the residents are from abroad.
Culture: Common areas are kept clean, communication and problem solving, low drama, sense of community. A little on the OCD side would be nice. Some shared chores. We recycle.
Have a place to store bikes safely and on-site laundry.
We are low density: one person per room. No exceptions.
No pets (some of us have allergies) and no smoking on property.

Room 4: Upstairs an amazingly sunny midsize room looks out over the front rose garden. This room has an antique bureau and a double bed. Rent $1450 plus $125 for utilities. Available August 1. Lease through July 31, 2027.
Room 5: Upstairs in its own private nook is a large bedroom furnished with a queen bed, antique bookcase and desk. Lots of wood and soundproof windows. It has a new ceiling fan. 13’6” by 15’ 8”. Rent $1550 plus $125 for utilities. Available August 1. Lease through July 31, 2027. RENTED
Room 7: A midsize sunny room with its own private half bath (vanity and toilet). Located off the street with windows facing east and north. It has a double bed, restored antique bureau, and a desk. This room, with a new ceiling fan for warmer days, is located towards the rear of the house so doesn't get street noise. 13’6” by 11’ plus ½ bath. Rent $1550 plus $125 for utilities. Available August 1. Lease through July 31, 2027.
Room 1: Called the Parlor, this super sweet room looks out over the rose garden, has bay windows and a twin bed. Available for June and July only so good if you are coming to Berkeley for summer courses or an internship. RENTED $1350 + $125 utilities.
