This is a very solid quality wood desk, definitely not IKEA-quality, more like Hoot Judkins’s $1200 kid desks, but an older version (though this is not that brand, but comparable quality, I know I was at Hoot Judkins the other day and gasping at the prices.) It’s got dovetailed joints and really nicely smooth sliding mechanisms. (Honestly the sliding mechanism are even better than the supposedly high-end ones my mom got in her kitchen a few years back!)
Yes my kids left some “creativity marks” from their art and the paint is worn away and chipped in some places (which is why it is priced so low) but the bones of this piece of furniture are strong. A little paint and it will be as good as new.
It fits a small space and has lots of great storage with 3 drawers.
