OLHSO Korean BBQ Truck presents itself as a Korean food brand at the intersection of Korean cuisine and technology in the Bay Area.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking passionate, reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as an Order Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and safely to our customers, ensuring that all deliveries are made in a courteous and professional manner. The role will also include basic handling of our automated equipment (system initiation to begin delivery, resolving minor errors when it arises, and automated system clean-up).
Since the driver is the sole representative on the delivery truck and essentially the face of the brand, maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional customer service will be critical.

Responsibilities:

1. Order Verification and Delivery
- Verify order accuracy before food leaves the truck with kitchen team
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner.

2. Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers upon delivery.
- Address any customer concerns or inquiries professionally.

3. Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of the truck.

4. Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper grey water disposal of the truck’s grey water tank.
- Hook up electricity and refill water in the truck as needed.

5. Operational Coordination
- Consult with management regarding any uncertainties or issues encountered during operations.
- Report any maintenance needs or operational issues promptly to management.
- Ensure parking location security by locking the truck and following proper open and shift-end procedures.

6. Kitchen Cleanliness and Sanitation
- Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area within the truck.
- Organize and clean the delivery vehicle to ensure a sanitary environment.

Requirements:

Food truck operating experience highly preferred (truck is approximately 30 ft long)
Food truck driver or delivery truck driver experience preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Standard California Class C license.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Must be 21 years of age.
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
Pass posts offer drug tests and criminal background checks.
Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. during each shift required
Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required


Compensation: $22/hr + tip
