Do you want a vintage travel trailer but want one that is essentially maintenance free? Then, you are going to want this Canadian fiberglass trailer. She was born in, Canada and Scamp and Casita copied this design but unfortunately they did not copy the fiberglass floor, large windows and taller interior height which sets the Trillium apart from the competition. All fiberglass construction with original high quality Hehr aluminum windows. This trailer is simple, strong, aerodynamic, super easy to tow and will barely impact your MPG. She would make a great first trailer.
I restored this trailer to be towed by EVs or 4 cylinder cars and kept the weight to an absolute minimum. She weighs less than 1,000 pounds and barley impacted my MPG on a recent camping trip. With that said, fridge, furnace, propane tank, 12v battery were removed and replaced with cabinets, Aluminum tongue box and a large countertop for more storage and more convenience. Brand new Flame King 2 burner cooktop with 1 pound propane tank. 110v system powers the light above the sink (with outlet) and an outlet under the counter should you want to install a fridge.
Sleeps 3-4 (2 in rear dinette and 1 on front couch or I have the bunk bed platform if you want to sleep 4)
You can add a Portapotty in the cabinet under the front couch
Cushions Needed (I was planning on putting a mattress in the rear dinette and making a front couch cushion
Fiberglass was polished and waxed with professional 3M Polish
Tires, freshly packed bearing and chrome baby moon hub caps are roadtrip ready
All windows were removed and resealed with Butyl Tape and Stainless Steel hex screws from Vintage Trailer Supply
Rockguard was restored and works as it should
Awning rail holds any vintage style awning (removed and sealed with new rivets)
Door has new bolts and a porthole style window with new seal
Maintenance free molded one piece flooring (just sweep or hose it clean!)
Just like her Scamp and Casita cousins you can buy any replacement parts should you ever need them in the future.
Interior Needs:
3 cabinet doors, to replace furnace, fridge and potty door
Rear Mattress or buy/make scamp style dinner cushions.
Front couch cushion.
Price will go up as I continue to work on her. When done will be $10,500
Note: Pictures do not show the tongue box or Rock Guard as I recently installed them.
Trailer Stuff:
7 way round Trailer Light connection (new marker lights and new LED taillights hidden in original vintage lenses). Can be converted to flat 4 or you can buy and adapter on Amazon.
1 7/8” Trailer Ball
Weighs around 1,000 pounds and can be towed by most vehicles
10’ camper with 13’ overall length including tongue and bumper
Come and get her in Pacifica, CA 20 minutes south of San Francisco
