I now what you all are thinking… what if Toyota Sunder made a trailer? You would get a high quality, light weight, well designed and aerodynamic camper that is 100% reliable as you can pull her with a modern vehicle.
Well, in 1975 they did. This is a 1975 Amerigo FG-16 fiberglass travel trailer. Amerigo (Sunrader) also made fiberglass slide in truck campers. This trailer is easy to tow, has a low center of gravity and would make a great first trailer. Its fiberglass construction makes her virtually maintenance free. All windows were pulled and reinstalled with fresh butyl tape and stainless steel screws
Door was removed and sealed
Interior panels around the windows had evidence of leaking. Problem areas were removed and new 1/8” plywood ready to install (included with sale)
Sub floor is prepped for the flooring of your choice
Bearings repacked
Brakes checked and work great
