Classification: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated tradesperson (apprentice to journey-level) to join our maintenance division, supporting a portfolio of ~40 high-end residential properties. This role offers consistent, hands-on work across a variety of homes and requires a high level of independence, professionalism, and attention to detail. You will play a key role in maintaining long-term client relationships and ensuring homes are kept in exceptional condition. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Division Superintendent.
About Us
We are a high-end residential general contractor with approximately 30 employees. Our work includes large-scale remodels as well as an established and growing maintenance division. About a third of our team focuses on maintenance, with the remainder on large-scale remodels. Many of our projects transition into long-term client relationships, providing consistent and meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and vendors (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical, AV) onsite, and relay updates to the Maintenance Division Superintendent
• Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate solutions in the field, independently or in a team environment
• Perform finish-carpentry tasks including adjustments to cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, and related larger tasks (e.g., installing cabinetry or modifying for appliance installation)
• Install and adjust residential hardware (e.g., hinges, locks, sliders, pocket doors) and specialty systems
• Small renovation project work (e.g., bathrooms, kitchens, small remodels)
• Handle small tasks and requests while onsite
• Manage and prioritize tasks across multiple properties
• Maintain clean, organized, and respectful work areas in occupied homes
Work Environment
This is not a typical jobsite. This position primarily involves work in occupied high-end residential homes. Candidates must be comfortable operating in client-facing environments and demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong communication at all times. You will often be working in fully furnished homes around homeowners, guests, staff, and pets.

Qualifications & Requirements
• 2–5+ years of carpentry experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/sites
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Possess common tools of the trades (i.e., hand and small power tools)
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8+ hours per day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally more
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing ladders
• Ability to perform overhead and repetitive work
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Preferred Experience
• Experience working in high-end residential environments
• Familiarity with coordinating multiple trades
• Interest in long-term growth within construction and management
Compensation
• $35 - $65 per hour (good faith estimate based on experience and skill level)
