We are seeking a talented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team.
This is a key role within the firm, ideal for a designer with 5+ years of professional experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. The right candidate is highly organized, proactive, and confident managing both design execution and project flow. You will work closely with the Principal on all aspects of the design process, gaining hands-on experience in creative development, sourcing, project coordination, and installations. This is a dynamic and integral role within a small, collaborative team, offering meaningful opportunities for growth and mentorship.
THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Principal and team across multiple residential projects
Lead and support all phases of design: concept through installation
Develop design concepts, finish palettes, and presentation materials
Produce and maintain detailed drawing sets (floor plans, elevations, specifications)
Source and specify furnishings, materials, and finishes aligned with project goals
Assist with project coordination, vendor communication, and order tracking
Participate in client presentations and assist in preparing visual materials and mood boards
Participate in client meetings and presentations
Oversee procurement workflows, including quoting, purchasing, and delivery tracking
Support onsite activities, including installations and styling
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or related field
5+ years of experience in a residential interior design firm
Experience with renovations and new construction
Strong understanding of construction documentation and job site coordination
SOFTWARE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Solid understanding of space planning, interior architecture, and millwork detailing
Ability to produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive drawing sets
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Highly skilled in Revit or Chief Architect (3D modeling)
Seasoned in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva
Experience using AI tools to support design and presentation workflows
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google
Familiarity with Houzz Pro or similar project management software a plus

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
