We are selling our Actev go kart. My son has out grown it at age 13. Everything still works. The only thing of note was that the plastic gear covers broke when my son drove the kart over a tree branch. Other than preventing dust from getting into the gear and chain, the plastic covers do not have any structural or other functional purposes. I’ve repaired the covers with 2-part epoxy reinforced by layers of aluminum (from a Diet Coke can) and installed them back (see pictures below). The kart shows normal wear from use.
