I bought this notebook for my daughter many years ago, but it came with Windows 8 and didn't perform very well so it got put on the shelf. A few years ago I dusted it off, put a new battery in it, and installed Ubuntu on it. What a difference! It performs much better than Windows ever did, touchscreen works and everything. I've had it in my garage for a couple of years as my "let me look something up" computer, almost always on the charger so the battery has just a few charge/discharge cycles in that time.
