Quiet couple in their 30's looking for short-term housing

I'm L (F/38) and my partner is K (M/37). I work full time in South San Francisco. Currently K is between jobs but actively looking for full-time employment. Long story short, we need to find a place to live in the next one or two months. Because we're currently have one paycheck to support us, we're hoping to find a place within our budget (please mention your desired rent in your initial email). Almost all home share listings we have found specify 'no couples', which is disheartening to say the least. We are hoping to find someone willing to consider having us together as a couple. It is very important that we live with each other, and as such we would not be considering offers for only housing one of us at this time.
We are non-smoking, drug free, drink very rarely, and we do not have any children or pets. We are very clean, quiet, and respectful. I work Monday through Friday in South San Francisco and would be out during that time. Being in our late 30's we do not keep late hours and we don't expect to host friends or other guests.
We would hope this to be a temporary place to live for maybe a few months until we can once again support ourselves with a dual income. As I work in the South San Francisco area we are hoping for a place in the lower peninsula, San Francisco proper, the southern part of the upper peninsula/north bay, or possibly the east bay. Bearing this in mind we are open to pretty much any opportunity within the Bay Area and can be flexible.
We are both ok with dogs and other pets, but K is very much allergic to cats. Other than that, we don't have too many constraints. A month-to-month lease would be ideal as we would be planning to look for our own living space as soon as we are financially able to do so. We were also hoping that the space would be unfurnished as we have our own furniture and do not have a storage unit at this time.
If you think you might have an opportunity for us, please send an email with information about you, the location, any other roommates, desired rent, extra costs for utilities/cleaning/etc., lease terms, and any other pertinent information that you'd like us to know. It is also extremely important for us to know if you have any dealbreakers that would take us out of consideration. Please feel free to ask us any questions! We very much value transparency and want to make sure that we would be good fit.
