My name is Carley. I am currently attending SFSU to finish my bachelor's in industrial design, living on campus since this January. I am an older student (34 years old) and am working on building a strong community here in the Bay Area, hoping to find some roommates who are closer to my age. I am older than the average student and value a peaceful home. I am single, don't smoke, and don't drink often (especially where I'm living and on weekdays). That being said, I am a sucker for a good dive bar. I am very studious, and my days consist of going to classes, going to the gym, doing homework, and light cooking in the evenings. I have an AutoCAD certificate and have worked as a subcontracted drafter for the last couple of years.
Some extras about me: I am a pretty good cook. I love tennis and need people to hit with. I am an avid solo traveler and have had the opportunity to explore many amazing places in my life so far. I love animals, but don't have any pets. I am also a nature lover and have backpacked through the Sierras and in some Latin American countries. I am a very chill person and like to keep my spaces clean, organized, mellow, and drama-free. I am also quite busy overall. With my family in Sac and working for a non-profit art and culture group, I spend a lot of time away when I can escape school.
My current lease for on-campus housing ends July 31st, so I am hoping to get into a place around then, but I can settle for 1-2 weeks earlier if the right situation pops up.
What I'm looking for:
