I am a professional Equipment & Facilities Engineer (10+ years experience) currently in the process of consolidating my life for a move to the East Coast. Between living in my van and after recently having my car’s catalytic converter stolen, I’ve realized I need a more stable "home base" for the next month to finish paring down my storage and finalizing my move logistics.
I am looking for a safe place to park or stay and would love to trade my technical skills for the space.
I will most likely be heading out by the month of May.
The "Resident Engineer" Advantage
I still maintain a local workshop equipped with a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 3D printer, laser cutter, and CAD software. Beyond standard handyman work, I can offer:
Custom Home Hacks: Designing and printing bespoke brackets, organizers, or replacement parts for appliances that are no longer manufactured.
Precision Maintenance: I have a background in manufacturing labs and bring that level of detail to home repairs.
General Handyman: Lighting, plumbing, furniture assembly, and heavy lifting.
About Me
The Vibe: 34 years old, quiet, and focused on my upcoming move.
The Companion: I have an 8-year-old, very well-behaved dog who is a seasoned traveler.
Reliable: I can provide solid professional references and I’m happy to sign a temporary agreement so everyone feels secure.
If you have a driveway with or without a power hookup, a spare room, or a property with a "to-do" list that requires an engineer’s touch, let’s talk. I’d love to help you optimize your space while I finish prepping for my journey.
