We're looking for a new team member who can use their technical and customer service skills to dazzle our clients, while also learning and advancing quickly, playing a key role in our company growth. This opening is for a Level 2 Project Technician at our headquarters in San Mateo. This role is designed to fuel your growth as a tech and give you experience working on higher-level issues and projects across all clients.

We are looking for someone with:
-A proactive approach to planning and executing projects
-Familiarity with and awareness of the project lifecycle
-Strong professional and technical communication skills (both written and verbal)
-Hands-on experience installing network/server equipment and IDF cabling
-Experience with Windows servers (Active Directory, Group Policy)
-Networking expertise (DHCP, DNS, VPN)
-Familiarity with virtualization (VMware ESXi and Hyper-V)
-A calm and focused approach to high-pressure situations
-A strong dedication to developing technically and to delivering world-class customer service
-3-5 years of professional IT experience
-The ability to be receptive and action-oriented in response to constructive feedback
-A passion for developing hard and soft skills and career advancement

Some responsibilities include:
-Helping clients achieve business objectives through project implementation
-Working with Project Managers to scope, plan, and execute technical projects
-Maintaining reliable and fluent communications with internal team members
-Managing responsibilities in accordance with project timelines
-Installing physical network and server hardware
-Installing and configuring Windows servers
-Configuring and optimizing firewalls, switches, and wireless networks
-Providing post-cutover technical support by phone, email, chat, and in-person
-Participating in a reasonable on-call rotation system
-Helping, teaching, and mentoring level 1 technicians
