Looking for housemate to share costs. You’d have Private large room furnished as bedroom and large living room, in the lower level of nice home. The kitchen and bath you'll share with another person, and the laundry room will be shared occasionally
Private furnishings include queen bed, dressers, small tables, desk, and daybed. In common area: dinette set, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, washer are provided. Rooms stay cool in summer.
Landscaping and gardens around house, property surrounded by treetops, greenery out every window, and sweet outdoor seating on both sides of house to catch either sun or shade, on fair weather mornings or afternoons. Pretty neighborhood, quiet and safe. Two blocks from pedestrian/bike paths and park; a couple blocks further to hiking trails.
Central location and easy access to everything!
--Just off University Square, Near I-101 access.
--Two blocks from Bus Service on 4 different bus-lines running every 30 minutes; 10 min bus ride to downtown.
--About 1 mile from Stanford, about a 15 minute drive (without traffic) or 30 minute walk.
--Also about 20 min bike to Stanford hospital or bike to VA Veterans hospital (up on the hill).
--SU is 10 mins by shuttle from Palo alto cal-train station.
I'm looking for housemate with the same qualities I offer: someone who is trustworthy, mature, responsible, friendly, self-sufficient and considerate, who will pay rent up front, communicate effectively about issues, and treat the place (inside and out) with care and the housemates and neighbors with respect.
No smoking indoors. No pets. No drugs. Cooperate with recycling and composting, and clean up after self in shared spaces. Help with regular cleaning of kitchen, bathroom, common areas; reasonable maintenance cleaning of your private space.
$700 security/cleaning deposit, refundable after paid stay as agreed and assuming (1) no damages and (2) cleanup at move-out per checklist.
First and last month's rent-share due upon agreement or by move-in.
