This is a single occupancy, part-time bedroom rental in a clean, quiet, very low-key household. No pets, non-smokers only, and no overnight guests. There is room in the driveway for a compact-midsize car (not a truck or big SUV), otherwise there's plenty of street parking in the court. Rental does not include laundry facilities.This is a private bedroom with a shared bathroom (one other commuter renter). You can leave your belongings in the room over the weekend and no one goes in the room when you are gone.
To be clear again, this is not a full time rental, but rather the room is for up to 4 nights during the work week; arrive Monday evening, depart Friday AM. It's basically a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep with a shared bathroom and kitchen access for a lot cheaper than a hotel. The rest of the house is off limits, except the outdoor deck. Because I work mostly from home, I'm looking for a renter who is at work during the day. You must have a separate, permanent address.
Kitchen access and WiFi are included. While you will have kitchen access and space in the fridge and cabinets, I prefer someone who does not want to bring their own kitchenware (coffee maker is ok), and does not cook big, elaborate meals so everyone has their time in the kitchen. My schedule is always in flux because I freelance but I have my own bathroom. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who gets up around 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM, with minimal morning use of the kitchen, and is out the door by around 7:00 to 8:00 AM.
The bedroom is already furnished with a full size bed, chair, desk, end table, lamp and area rugs. You supply your own bedding, pillows, bath towels, etc. If you prefer to bring your own mattress I can put mine in storage.
The house is located in the beautiful canyons of Linda Mar, the southern sunnier part of Pacifica overlooking the canyons and a five minute drive form the ocean. Public transportation is infrequent back here, but Colma and Daly City BART are only a 15 to 20 minute drive.
We are about 30-45 minutes to downtown San Francisco depending on what time you leave. Also, about 45 minutes to the mid peninsula area such as Redwood Shores.
