(1) About the Home and Location
Located just a short walk from Castro Street, this luxury 2012-built home is newer and larger than most Mountain View properties, which were typically built in the 1960s or 70s. It features modern living design with crown molding, recessed lighting, large windows, and upscale fixtures throughout. This is also a smart home, equipped with smart lighting, integrated speakers, and ambient audio settings that enhance the home atmosphere.
The neighborhood is calm, residential, and filled with tree-lined streets — yet only a few blocks from downtown restaurants, shops, the public library, parks, and the Mountain View Transit Center, which includes Caltrain, VTA Light Rail, and numerous commuter shuttles. Whether you’re headed north toward San Francisco or south toward San Jose, this central location is one of the best on the Peninsula for transit flexibility.
You’ll be just minutes from Castro Street, the heart of downtown Mountain View, which offers something for everyone — including restaurants, fine dining, casual eateries, coffee shops, wine bars, dessert spots, and a wide variety of international cuisines. Whether you’re meeting friends for trivia night, catching an open mic performance, or just relaxing with a good book at a local café, the area offers an experience for every personality and mood.
The City of Mountain View has also done a fantastic job supporting a vibrant and complete downtown. In addition to dining and nightlife, you’ll find everything from a full-service movie theater, major banks, drugstores, bookstores, fitness studios, salons, and more — all within walking distance.
If you enjoy hiking, biking, or nature walks, the home is located right across the street from one of the entrances to the Stevens Creek Trail, offering scenic access to miles of trails through local parks and creekside greenbelts — a unique bonus for those who value both urban convenience and natural beauty.
Enjoy proximity to tech shuttles for Google, Apple, Meta (Facebook), Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Intuit, Nvidia, LinkedIn, and more — most of which stop directly at or near the Mountain View Transit Center. Whether you walk, bike, or shuttle, commuting from this location is easy and flexible.
While garage access is not available, there is ample, easy street parking directly in front of the home. There’s also enough outdoor space to store a bicycle, surfboard, skis, or similar gear in the backyard area.

(2) What’s Included and Who Lives Here
Each private bedroom is fully furnished turnkey with executive-style furnishings, including a queen-sized bed, premium mattress, large-screen TV, desk, chair, ceiling fan, coat stand, and plush carpeting. Most tenants find there is no need to bring any outside furniture, but if you do have small personal items that comfortably fit in your room, that’s totally fine. We kindly ask that tenants not bring additional large furnishings such as mattresses or bedside tables, as the room is already set up and optimized for comfort and space.
Shared areas (kitchen, bathrooms, and hallway) are well-maintained and shared respectfully among the housemates — all of whom are full-time working professionals in industries like tech, biotech, and design. The vibe here is clean, quiet, and low-key. Everyone is friendly but independent. It’s not a social or party house, and we aim to keep it that way.
We’re looking for someone who’s thoughtful, clean, and a good match for a peaceful, well-maintained shared home. Ideal for someone who appreciates a quiet, respectful environment and likes to unwind at the end of the day in a clean, relaxed space.
No pets allowed. Each housemate provides their own kitchenware.
Many tenants have extended their leases because of how well-managed and peaceful the home is.

(3) Lease Terms and How to Apply
Available for one person per room. While long-term tenants are preferred, we’re open to starting with a short-term trial (e.g. one month) to ensure it’s a good mutual fit before signing a longer lease.
Video tours are available for out-of-town applicants. The application process is simple and streamlined — once we’ve had a chance to connect and you’ve seen the place (virtually or in person), you can request the application. Assuming good credit and no major red flags, we can move forward quickly. I aim to keep the process smooth and low-pressure.
If this sounds like a good match for you, feel free to give me a call and we can decide together if this might be a good fit for you.
