Removed from vehicle years ago when the water pump froze and threw the timing belt.
I installed a used water pump and the same timing belt, and the engine ran but missed on cylinder number 3.
I then did a compression test and found that cylinder had zero compression, therefore the valves must be bent.
A used engine was installed in the XC90, and we have been driving it for years until December when it was involved in accident and was totaled. I kept the old engine for spare parts but I it is no longer needed.
