The Ohlins coilovers are fantastic dampers, adjustable for:
- damping (compression and rebound together)
- spring preload
The included springs are:
Front: 7kg/mm (400lb/in)
Rear: 4kg/mm (225lb/in)
These are the standard Ohlins package for the Miata ND (2016+). I ran them for about a year, and roughly 8,000 miles.
Installed at the "starting point" settings, and they lower the car 1" while improving the ride (yes, improving the ride). I found the ride more controlled, all of the time, and rarely more harsh that the stock (which is always hitting the factory bump stops).
One photo shows the coilovers as they are now, ready to pack up. Tophats aren't included with these, as the factory top-hats are used with the adapters shown on top of the springs.
The other photo shows the standard ride-height with these. But as the ride height is adjustable separately from the spring perch, the car can be lowered considerably more if desired. No fender rolling needed.
All original instructions and adjustment wrenches included.
