The clamps bolted right onto the existing roof rails of our 2002 Odyssey, undoubtedly will fit the roof rails of plenty of other cars/vans/SUVs (see pictures for a look at the clamping mechanism).
All parts have been mainly sitting in my garage since we bought them, I only used them occasionally to haul things like sheets of plywood.
