We are a San Francisco based architectural custom metal fabricating company seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Brisbane, CA location.
Assistant Project Manager is an important element to our team. Your main tasks will revolve around assisting our Project Managers with larger projects. In this role, you will wear many hats, all while ensuring the company’s projects are completed in a safe, efficient manner, profitable manner.
Our team uses a variety of tools, such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft platforms to keep them on the cutting edge of project management. Additionally, you will interact with professionals from all levels of the industry.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will serve in the following areas:
• Attend job walks, weekly coordination meetings with General Contractors and others, etc.
• Handling project documentation such as contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and purchase orders.
• Assist with submittals on projects such as shop drawings, safety documentation, job hazard analysis, samples, product data etc.
• Assist with procurement – Materials, hardware, etc. while maintaining a budget
• Support in scheduling, budgeting and cost tracking efforts
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors and clients to keep deliverables on track.
• Assist with basic estimating tasks – Takeoffs and budgeting etc.
• Preparation of close out documents
• Identifying and helping resolve potential project issues before escalating.
Desired Traits
• Construction experience preferred, not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow up skills
• Knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures preferred but not required.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, eSub preferred.
• Strong problem solving, organizational skills and detailed oriented.
• Ability to read architectural / structural plans and specifications.
• Time Management: The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to adapt behavior to meet the needs of the project to ensure project success with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
• Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients and others.
Compensation:
• Full benefits package (medical, dental, 401k, vacation pay).
• 10 paid holidays per year.
• Hourly wage: Based on experience
• Starting salary: $30.00/hour + depending on experience
• Job Type: Full-time – 6:30am to 4:00pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 7:00am to 11:00pm
