Mastering At Its Best... (redwood city)

Why hire me to mix or master music? Everything is getting competitive again. It was so easy over the last few years to produce and market your own music, but now, everybody is doing it. So, how do you stand out? You make sure your sound meets the fan’s fickle standards. I’ve done that consistently for more than a decade...
-------------------------------------------------------

For mixing, give me a call. For mastering, do this if you’re not sure…send a mixed track you want mastered, and I’ll do it and send it back as an MP3…$25.

Rates are from $75 to $125 per song for mastering. I charge $75 per song for double albums. If you team up with another artist who needs mastering for an album, each person pays $37.50 per song. Another business strategy is to pick (1) or (2) potential singles, which will cost $125 each, and have the other songs mastered by a cheaper outfit if budget is an issue.

Remember what I said about the fickle fan standards? These people hired me for new projects; look what happened-:

+ The Legendary Vince Guaraldi - Official Peanuts Soundtracks from the 1960s shows… - I’ve been working on a legacy project; restoring and mastering Vince Guaraldi’s original soundtracks from the original tapes from the 1960s Peanuts episodes for Lee Mendelson Productions. 7-albums from 7-episodes have been released so far- “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (2022), “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” (2023), “It Was A Short Summer, Charlie Brown” (2024) and “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown” (2024-BioVinyl), “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” (2025-BioVinyl), “You’re A Good Sport, Charlie Brown” (2025), and “It’s The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown” (2025-Record Store Day/5,000) …this one has been selling for over $200 on Ebay.

+ Bohemia, The Punjabi Rapper- UMG/Sony Music (2004 to 2014) 4-albums; The Story-
Bohemia, his producer and manager came to me to produce their second album, after releasing an album that had gotten some buzz. They worked in several studios in the bay area, but found my ad on Craigslist. They were looking for a record deal and I had years of major label experience. We worked on their second album for about a year, and in 2006, they landed their first major 2-album deal with Universal Music Group. After two best selling albums with UMG, we moved to Sony Music and delivered two more best selling albums.
-------------------------------------------------------

+ Jasmine Sandlas, Sony Music- (First album); The Story-
Jasmine was already signed to a small record label, but she had worked in this studio as a session singer a few times. After being signed for two years with this label, she decided that her career had gone as far as it could go there. After announcing she was released from her contract, Bohemia and I worked on a new album, and 6 months later, she was signed to Sony Music. They released her first album named ‘Gulabi’.

+ Cardi B, The Migos & Yo Gotti- Recorded (FOH) and Mastered the Dub Show 2017 (Dallas, TX), featuring Cardi B’s Live Performance, The Migos Live and Yo Gotti’s Performance for a Virtual Reality media company called MindVR, where I’m the Head of Audio and a Co-founder.
-------------------------------------------------------

+ DLabrie, RonDavoux Records- (3) Hip Hop albums – The Story-
Dlabrie found me on Craigslist in 2006 or so, and we work on his music to this day…He currently tours in the U.S. and Asia…
