Maintained and voiced by one of the best Bay Area Steinway piano technicians, this piano exhibits a rare Concert quality sound that only Steinway’s finest instruments can produce. This piano has all the exquisite details afforded by a brand new Steinway Concert Artist piano at a fraction of the cost. For example, the piano enjoys a new pin-block, pins and strings (Including custom imported bass strings for extra deep bass); new bridge caps, Original and Rare IVORY KEYS, bushings; everything new on the inside belly work except the original hand crafted soundboard and the plate (Like an aged wine – the board was kept in the piano to maintain the beautiful vintage sound …. that even the recent new Steinways cannot duplicate). The Golden Steinway Harp; Original Vintage Soundboard; and the Ebony exterior cabinet of the instrument have all meticulously refinished ; the exterior ebony with four coats of Wurdock finish (as per Steinway specs) to look gorgeous and sound wonderful. It’s action is responsive and has been voiced and regulated. Everything in this instrument is high end including the refinished exterior as per Steinway specs.
