For sale is my Tom Anderson Cobra from 2024 (40th Anniversary). This guitar is in excellent condition (see pictures), never gigged. This is a killer T style guitar with a chambered mahogany body, a beautiful flamed maple top, and a short Gibson scale length (24 ¾”). Super light: ~6 lbs.
Please find the spec sheet in one of the pictures.
The original gig bag that came with the guitar is included. This is their latest gig bag, the Access Stage Four with the Tom Anderson logo.
Only reason for selling: I am currently exploring various Tom Anderson guitars with different neck and electronic specs to guide a future custom order. I love this guitar but it has their Happy Medium neck profile and I prefer the much more substantial 60s Vibe +.02 profile. I decided to get a new 60s Vibe +.02 neck for it if it doesn’t find a new home through the local marketplaces soon.
Asking $3300. Acceptable payments: Cash and Zelle.
Happy to consider reasonable trade offers +/- cash (see guitars of interest at the end of this posting). For trade offers: please send me pictures of your guitar(s) as well as specs, description of condition, and +/- cash amount.
Local sales only - no shipping. I can meet in the SF Bay Area between Fremont and Point Richmond.
*** Potential Trades ***
I am interested in electric Collings guitars (mainly the I-30 LC, but I may also consider something like a I-35, 290, 360, or 71), Novo (Serus, Miris, Solus), Nik Huber (Krautster, Piet, Twangmeister), Telecasters (Nacho, Lentz and similar builders), Stratocasters (Nacho, Lentz and similar builders; hardtail only though), Les Pauls (Yaron, Bartlett, Tandler, Morgaine and similar builders), Tom Anderson models with thicker neck profiles (T Icon or a Shorty preferred, but would consider all other models), Suhr (but it must have a big neck), Emerald Virtuo and X20.
