Improve the Sound of Your Motion Sound KP-408S / KP-408SX - $250 (pacifica)

This is a set of two speakers to replace the Faitalpro 8FE300 woofers now shipping in Motion Sound KP-408S / KP-408SX keyboard amps.
One speaker is an 18 Sound 8NW650 Subwoofer, the other is an Eminence Beta 8A.
The Motion Sound KP-408S and KP-408SX amps used to be shipped with Eminence Beta 8A woofers, but now at least some are shipped with Faitalpro 8FE300 woofers. Some (including myself) believe that they can tell a difference in sound, and that the Eminence Beta 8A's sounded better. Open yours up and see!

- The Eminence Beta 8A and the 18 Sound 8NW650 each have a lower frequency range than the Faitalpro 8FE300, giving a deeper sound.
- Although the power handling capacity of the Eminence Beta 8A is 25 watts lower than that of the Faitalpro 8FE300, it is still greater than the 200 watt output of a single channel of the KP-408S/SX.
- The Eminence Beta 8A and the 18 Sound 8NW650 are each lighter than the Faitalpro 8FE300.
I first replaced the two Faitalpro 8FE300 speakers in my Motion Sound KP-408S/SX with two Eminence Beta 8A's, resulting in a slightly lighter amplifier that provides a wider range of sound. Later, rather than seek an external subwoofer, I decided to replace the Eminence Beta 8A of the left channel of the amp with an 18 Sound 8NW650 subwoofer. To my ear, this sounded even better!
Because I liked the results of installing a subwoofer on the left side of the amp, I tried replacing the other Eminence Beta 8A with a second 18 Sound 8NW650 subwoofer. I did not like that sound so much, so I am now using one 18 Sound 8NW650 Subwoofer for the left side (lower notes' fundamentals) and one Eminence Beta 8A for the right side (higher notes' fundamentals).
This leaves me with one spare Eminence Beta 8A and one spare 18 Sound 8NW650 Subwoofer. So I am selling these two spare speakers. Please contact me if you are interested in buying these two excellent speakers.
